Laird Station is part of Eglinton’s new Crosstown LRT line that connects the eastern and western fringes of the centre to the existing stations on the TTC’s Line 1. The new line consists of 25 stations and 19 km of track both underground and above ground. This project makes it possible to cross the city of Toronto 60% faster.
It involves the supply and installation of:
- Smart lighting systems
- Security systems (fire alarm, detection, intruder alert, etc.)
- Electrical installations
- Signalling and public address system
- Communications and SCADA systems
