A culture of prevention and zero tolerance

The organisation is deeply committed to complying with the highest standards of corporate ethics, and has had a Corporate Compliance Programme in place since 31 March 2018, which is periodically reviewed by renowned external advisors and which includes, in an organised manner, the actions implemented to create an environment of risk prevention, detection and early management. This Programme focuses especially on combating breaches, both criminal and anti-competitive, amongst other matters, ensuring the highest level of integrity in all its business practices.

CYMI adheres to VINCI standards, which set out the principles shared by all employees and business partners, and whose core values are defined in the following 5 reference documents:

  • The Code of Ethics and Conduct, which sets out all principles of business ethics to be applied in different circumstances and in all countries in which it operates.
  • It is applied in conjunction with the Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct , which includes rules related to the prevention of acts of corruption, especially by identifying risks in business processes and defining the conduct to be avoided.
  • The Guide on Human Rights, which summarises potential risks and their implications for companies, and defines a common set of guidelines on how to deal with human rights issues. These guidelines are based on the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), the 8 fundamental conventions of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
  • The Declaration on Fundamental and Essential Actions regarding Health and Safety at Work, which reflects the common will to achieve the goal of “Zero Accidents”. This declaration is the result of a constructive and regular social dialogue .
  • Environmental guidelines, which provide a framework designed to minimise the risks and impacts of our activities on the environment. All companies are required to follow these guidelines so that the actions and procedures may be improved and adapted in order to protect and conserve the environment in all places where they operate.
