These channels are used both to report possible breaches of legislation and/or internal regulations, and to resolve queries related to the organisation’s activity, guaranteeing the confidentiality of the information processed and ensuring that there will be no reprisals for lodging a complaint.
All persons who submit reports in good faith shall be protected against any discrimination, retaliation or criminalisation for their reporting. False or defamatory allegations shall be subject to disciplinary sanctions in accordance with internal procedures, agreements and the applicable legal regulations. The confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity shall be guaranteed. The whistleblower’s identity shall not be disclosed to third parties, neither to the person reported nor to senior management, unless disclosure to persons involved in any subsequent investigation or legal proceedings initiated as a result of the investigation conducted by the Compliance Management System is required. In accordance with the applicable Personal Data Protection regulations, please be informed that the data collected through this channel shall be processed by CYMI and its subsidiaries to process the corresponding complaints and queries, as established in the Corporate Compliance Programme and internal regulations. The legal basis of this processing is the data subject’s consent by having voluntarily submitted the information. The data shall be kept for the duration of the investigation and until their deletion is requested and, in any case, in compliance with the applicable legal limitation periods. The information received may be disclosed to the relevant companies if necessary for the investigation. The companies of COBRA IS may be ascertained at any official information registry.
