Construction of Section A of the Maghreb-Europe gas pipeline, covering 288 kilometres from the Algerian border to Taza. This section used 48-inch diameter pipelines to transport natural gas efficiently, being a crucial part of the Maghreb-Europe network connecting Algeria to Spain via Morocco.
