Installation of solar panels for self-consumption without energy surplus in Renfe workshops in Santa Catalina (1.739 kWp), Fuencarral (2.292 kWp), Villaverde (1.128 kWp) and La Sagra (2.037 kWp). Financed by the EU Next Generation funds, with a total investment of 12 million euros, covering 41% of the workshops’ energy requirements, with a total capacity of 11 MWp and a generation of more than 10,000 MWh/year, reducing energy consumption from the grid and greenhouse gas emissions.
